Aatmica Ojha is an abstract expressionist artist and philanthropist whose work is deeply intertwined with social causes. Born in 1989, she believes in the transformative power of art, using it not only as a medium of expression but also as a force for positive change.
Aatmica holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Fashion & Apparel Design from Bangalore University, India, and has exhibited extensively both nationally and internationally. Her solo exhibitions include a permanent exhibition at PresoTea Café, Utah (2025), “Artist of the Month” at Local Colors of Utah (2022), and shows at Artsy New York and multiple venues in India. Her work has been showcased in prominent group exhibitions, including the Holladay Arts Council Fine Art Show & Sale (2023-2024), Prime Produce in New York (2024), and Women Artists to Watch on Artsy (2022).
Aatmica’s philanthropic efforts through art are a cornerstone of her practice. She has been an active participant in charitable exhibitions and auctions, such as the “Pink October” Breast Cancer Awareness Exhibition (2022), Art for Ukrainian Charity Drive (2022), and the Twitter Art Exhibit in the UK, supporting the Encephalitis Society. In 2021, she donated her art to raise awareness for breast cancer at the National Art Camp held at Hotel Taj West End in Bengaluru, India, a cause that remains close to her heart. Additionally, she has pledged to donate 50% of her art sales to charitable organizations, reinforcing her commitment to using her talent for social impact.
Her contributions have earned her several awards and recognitions, including the Third Prize at the Midvale Arts Council Visual Arts Show (2022), the Award of Excellence from J. Mane Gallery (2018), and the City Merit Award from the Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation (2017).
Beyond exhibitions, Aatmica actively engages in art education and community projects. She leads the Art Literacy Program at Viewmont Elementary School, Utah (2025), and has conducted live painting sessions at events like the Ogden Arts Festival and Spring Fling 2022. Her work has been featured in esteemed publications, including Voyage Utah Magazine, The Times of India, The Hindu, and Art Hole Magazine (UK).
Currently, maintaining professional affiliations with Tricera Art (Japan), Pascal Allouard Gallery (Belgium), Artsper (France), Singulart (France), and Artsy (USA). Her works are also housed in private collections, including the Taj Group of Hotels in India and 2SidedGallery in California, USA.
