I've used natural mediums like natural sand, sawdust and ceramic stucco textures to add depth, texture and body to the work. it creates a beautiful, organic, earthy feel. Abbey Bryon is an abstract artist, originally from rural New South Wales, now based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Working from memory and experience, and informed by the country and coastal landscapes of her home, her work is intuitive, unforced, and organic.

She works with traditional mediums such as acrylic, charcoal and oil, and often incorporates found materials like cloth, sawdust and wood chips into her pieces.
