The south coast beaches are a common source of inspiration for my work. Looking north from Coalcliff rockpools you get a beautiful view of the headlands all the way up the coast. I’m constantly in awe by this view which keeps bring me back. In this piece I really wanted to bring out the reflections in the rockpools which contrast beautifully against the stone.
