Silver Princess gum nuts

PastelOriginal drawing/ painting of eucalyptus "Silver Princess" pods native species to Australia

Pink or red flowers emerge from white powdery gumnuts in late winter and early spring. Gumnuts form into a bell shaped fruit.

The art was done with Schmincke pastels and charcoal on brown paper.

The art was sprayed with fixative a few times to seal the pigment to the paper.

Paper size: A4, 210x297mm, 11.7x 8.3 inch.

Adela was involved in art since 1984. She holds a Bachelor degree in fine art and teaching.Her favorite subjects are figurative art, still life and landscapes. The main mediums that she is working with are graphite, charcoal and oil paints.
Adela's paintings and drawings are held in many private collections in Australia and overseas. She was exhibiting her work in Chelsea open-air art exhibition and Chiswick art gallery in London.
One of her nude drawings was used as a background set dressing for Open Vista Productions for the TV series " Enlightened "
Adela's inspiration comes from everything that surrounds her. Anything could potentially be a subject for creating art.
