Still life with green grapes

Still life with green grapes was done on a canvas panel with professional grade oil paints.
It was painted using the chiaroscuro technique which uses a strong contrast between light and dark to achieve a sense of volume.

Adela was involved in art since 1984. She holds a Bachelor degree in fine art and teaching.Her favorite subjects are figurative art, still life and landscapes. The main mediums that she is working with are graphite, charcoal and oil paints.
Adela's paintings and drawings are held in many private collections in Australia and overseas. She was exhibiting her work in Chelsea open-air art exhibition and Chiswick art gallery in London.
One of her nude drawings was used as a background set dressing for Open Vista Productions for the TV series " Enlightened "
Adela's inspiration comes from everything that surrounds her. Anything could potentially be a subject for creating art.
