Tobacco kilns in Bright still stand in the fields, serving as a reminder of the region's rich tobacco-farming history.Sitting by the Hastings Jetty and its fishing shed. Watching the boats come and go, waiting for the fresh catch of the day. Paynesville is a charming village surrounded by lakes on three sides, with canals and inlets providing plentiful sheltered moorings for boats. Enjoy a glass of sparkling at sunset and settle for a sumptuous dinner on the pier. It makes me feel like being at home. The calm before the storm on the farm, everything was still and quiet. But I can feel the intensity behind it.
