Artwork Description

Inspired by a trip to the Murray River. The shed bark on the eucalyptus is one of its most fascinating features. As the bark dries and peels, it often forms colorful patches and interesting patterns on the trunk. Some trees have distinct stripes and flaky patterns, and the peeling bark may reveal the bright yellow or orange of the new bark that forms underneath. Especially in the setting sun, the trunks take on a brilliant orange-red color.
