There's a lovely harbour of peace and rest,
Away o'er the storm-tossed foam;
Oh, my heart is seeking that haven blest,
I'm longing to reach that home.

Softly I'll glide with the flowing tide,
When murmuring winds shall cease;
Into the harbour, the beautiful harbour,
Harbour of rest and peace.

The Redbird was a steamship built in 1884 in England. In 1905, the ship was sold to an Australian shipping company and was renamed the Redbird. It continued to be used for coastal transport in Australia until it sank near the Hasting Jetty in 1911. The Redbird shipwreck is considered an important historical site and is protected under the Heritage Act of Victoria. Tobacco kilns in Bright still stand in the fields, serving as a reminder of the region's rich tobacco-farming history.Sitting by the Hastings Jetty and its fishing shed. Watching the boats come and go, waiting for the fresh catch of the day. The calm before the storm on the farm, everything was still and quiet. But I can feel the intensity behind it.
