Artwork Description

In 2020 just before the pandemic hit I went on an artists retreat , glamping with a group of 8 ladies to Moreton Island. We spent 3 days gathering information in sketchbooks, creating paintings and generally having a wonderful time on the island. So much to take in. This painting was from the Blue Lagoon on the island, my first place to stop and sketch on the little mound next to the tree in the image. It was a beautiful space though not sure about the "Blue " in lagoon..., more murky yet still a drawcard. The first painting during the day, this second work in the evening sunset.
Great memories sitting on that mound.
