Artwork Description

Painting as portrait to depict drag act Miss Synthetique. I wanted to show the person and the persona.
Andrew sat for me a few times both in and out of drag. I had seen him perform on numerous occasions and wanted to paint the person.
The acrylic was first scraped over the canvas as a ground before placement of the figures.
