On a trip home to Scotland my father and I were driving along the coast from the arts town of Kirkcudbright late one afternoon as the sun was going down in Winter.
The Solway Firth is a firth between Scotland and England., third largest estuary in the UK.
I got my father to pull over and I got out and did a few quick sketches as the dramatic canvas was luring me before the sun went down. My father took some pictures so I worked from my drawings and his images.
