The seascape broadens out in front of you. Wind whips across sand and tugs at the surface of the sea. Spray on your face, salt in your hair, seagulls wailing.

Light, energy, emotion - I am interested in visual perception and visual sensation. Nature inspired organic shapes and contrasts of colour and texture explore themes of energy and place. Brushstrokes are left raw and immediate recording my presence in the work. Their abstraction invites a collaboration with the viewer to complete a mood or experience that is individual to each person.
