Candyfloss

This work is inspired by the light of late afternoon. Sunlight and shadow move across an old wall marked with age and layers of graffiti. Beauty is found in the everyday, the passing of time and season.
This work is a standard A2 size. It will fit in commercial frames designed for an A2 artwork. It will suit being displayed in vertical or horizontal format. The frame in the photograph is 500 x 700mm.

Light, energy, emotion - I am interested in visual perception and visual sensation. Nature inspired organic shapes and contrasts of colour and texture explore themes of energy and place. Brushstrokes are left raw and immediate recording my presence in the work. Their abstraction invites a collaboration with the viewer to complete a mood or experience that is individual to each person.
