Part of a series exploring the city, its elements and contrasts, light and shade, exuberance and tranquillity. This work explores the transition from afternoon to evening, dusk to night. Warm light across billboards saturates the colours and deepens shadows at the edges and corners. Velvet black light is pierced by sharp brights. The paint is layered showing textures and has a gloss finish.
