This abstract work is part of a group inspired by the streetscape of my suburb, where nature and the urban environment meet and jostle for attention. This work looks at graffiti fading and partially painted over, the remnant marks echoing the plants and trees glimpsed through gaps and over walls. Another world to imagine. The collage of papers in this work are painted over in a similar way, obscuring and highlighting their differing surfaces.
