This work is part of a group of three inspired by a flowering gum. The painting is abstract but evocative of the subject with it's silver grey leaves dotted with amazingly vibrant and delicate flowers. The brushwork is loose and expressive. This work is A2 in size and unframed.

Light, energy, emotion - I am interested in visual perception and visual sensation. Nature inspired organic shapes and contrasts of colour and texture explore themes of energy and place. Brushstrokes are left raw and immediate recording my presence in the work. Their abstraction invites a collaboration with the viewer to complete a mood or experience that is individual to each person.
