A vibrant ochre pit, layers of rich earth tones and chalky creams. The sun's intensity reflecting back, drawing shadows across the land. This work has strong brush strokes with highly textured areas.

Light, energy, emotion - I am interested in visual perception and visual sensation. Nature inspired organic shapes and contrasts of colour and texture explore themes of energy and place. Brushstrokes are left raw and immediate recording my presence in the work. Their abstraction invites a collaboration with the viewer to complete a mood or experience that is individual to each person.
