A magnificent white Waratah from a local garden here on our Mountain placed in a 1970's jug

The jug is part of my extensive vintage vase collection and is made by Royal Doulton England in the Fieldflower pattern c.1976

Recently I am exploring the combination of botanicals with my Vintage and Antique pieces held over from my Antique business that I ran for 20 years. I am really enjoying the juxtaposition of old patterns and organic forms.

The flowers are sourced from our big old cold climate garden and as we live in a flower growing area and right next to the Mt Dandenong Botanic Gardens, I am quite spoilt for floral inspirations!
