A large study of Proteas in a bunch juxtaposed against a background of Vintage finds.
In my latest works I am combining my love of Vintage and Antique items with locally grown flora.
These Proteas grow prolifically in the cold climate gardens here on a mountain and I find their sculptural qualities quite fascinating. I have been visiting their colours and shapes numerous times in my paintings over the last few years.
