Standing proudly amongst a joyful tangle of blooms, Sir Peregrine commands attention with his spectacular plumage of brilliant turquoise, cobalt blue and emerald green. His elegant feathers cascade through the painting, while loose, expressive brushstrokes of pink, lilac, yellow and fresh green create a garden alive with colour and movement.

His name, Peregrine, means traveller or wanderer — perfectly capturing a sense of freedom, curiosity and adventure.

Born and raised in South Africa I developed a love for art as far back as I can remember. I now live and work as a full-time painter on the beautiful Sunshine Coast , Queensland. I feel extremely grateful to be creative every day .

Inspired by light, movement, surprising color combinations, and textures, my goal is to infuse these elements and form abstracted, impressionistic compositions. No matter the subject, I strive to portray a balance of realism combined with loose painterly abstraction, causing one to compliment the other.
