Tangle wood track

Inspired by the Australian coastal landscape, Tanglewood Track celebrates the rich textures and native beauty found along one of Noosa’s most treasured bush walks. Layers of sculptural pandanus, flowering banksias, coastal grasses and weathered pebbles intertwine in an expressive tapestry of colour and movement. Soft sea greens, warm earth tones and luminous whites reflect the ever-changing light filtering through the coastal canopy, while playful abstract forms evoke the rhythm of nature and the journey towards the ocean. Rich in texture and contemporary in style, this painting captures the peaceful spirit, resilience and wild beauty of Australia’s coastline, inviting the viewer to pause and immerse themselves in the landscape.

Born and raised in South Africa I developed a love for art as far back as I can remember. I now live and work as a full-time painter on the beautiful Sunshine Coast , Queensland. I feel extremely grateful to be creative every day .

Inspired by light, movement, surprising color combinations, and textures, my goal is to infuse these elements and form abstracted, impressionistic compositions. No matter the subject, I strive to portray a balance of realism combined with loose painterly abstraction, causing one to compliment the other.
