Aussie gums at Margate. Tangled branches of local gum trees criss-cross each other, creating a kaleidoscope of colours as the morning sun lights up the sky, mirrored in the water of the bay below.

I love to paint with oils using rich, thick brushstrokes, resulting in an impasto effect.  My favourite subjects for painting are landscapes and florals, painted in bright undiluted colours to create a feeling of happiness and joy and reflect the beauty of the natural landscape around us.
