Hi! I’m Amanda, an Abstract Textural Artist.
I'm captivated by the accumulation of layers—both in life and in art. Just as we are shaped by our experiences, my work is built layer by layer, many of which remain hidden beneath the surface. These unseen elements contribute to the depth and meaning of each piece.
Having been born and raised in Australia, I draw deep inspiration from the natural movement found in the landscapes around me—from ocean tides and wind-swept trees to the shifting sands and textured earth. That sense of rhythm, flow, and quiet complexity finds its way into my work.
I often incorporate words, phrases, scriptures, and other meaningful elements that reflect the essence of the piece and speak to its future collector. Each work begins as a simple idea and transforms through a tactile, intuitive process. There’s a profound joy and fulfillment that comes from watching it come to life.
My approach to art mirrors my mindset toward life: finding beauty in imperfection. Embracing intricacies and inconsistencies allows me to see so-called flaws not as hindrances, but as essential and beautiful parts of the whole.
