Artwork Description

Outback Dreaming - 180 x 120cm Oak Framed Abstract Canvas Print.
This canvas print comes with a natural oak frame and is ready to hang. If you would prefer a white or black frame please contact me before purchasing.
Inspired by the colours that form in nature when the sun begins to set over our stunning Australian landscape. A beautiful colour palette of warm reds, yellows, light greens and turquoise blues in a flowing calming rhythmic pattern.
Choosing the colours at the start of a piece is an important part of my artistic process and and I love choosing the colours through how I am feeling, the seasons we are in and inspiration from nature around me. It is fascinating how a certain colour can really change a rooms ambiance and feel.
Red is the colour of heightened emotion, strength, and power. It's invigorating, intimidating, and it's never boring. Turquoise is linked to calmness, serenity and peace of mind, as well as to mental clarity. Turquoise encourages creativity. It is a colour linked to the ocean. It is also associated with balance and emotional stability.
I want this artwork to invoke joy, mindfulness and peace within the viewer and the room that is hanging in. Perfect addition to a nature lovers home, bringing the outside ambiance inside or perhaps for someone that just needs that colour lift in their home.

Amber draws inspiration from the Australian landscape and its botanical forms. Amber translates elements of the natural world into abstract compositions that focus more on feeling over their representation.

Through layered colour, organic movement and considered placement, Amber aims to create paintings that bring a sense of calm, balance and natural energy into a space. Nature acts as a starting point — a reference for growth, rhythm and softness — while abstraction allows the work to remain open, personal and enduring.

Each piece is created intuitively, with attention to colour formations and harmony. Amber is drawn to how colour can influence and impact a room and how art can anchor an interior, shaping not only how a space looks, but how it feels.

Amber’s work is intended to be lived with — collected for its emotional resonance, longevity and ability to connect the beauty of the natural world with contemporary interiors.
