Artwork Description

Rosy Cheeks - 100 x 100cm Abstract Canvas Print comes rolled/unstretched. If you would like it framed please select these options when purchasing.
Rosy Cheeks is a contemporary minimal floral abstract giving off a warmth and glow with gorgeous reds, pinks and oranges, depicting brushstrokes that perceive abstract organic petals and natures olive greens in the leaves and foliage. This artwork was inspired by thoughts of a luscious overgrowing flower garden glistening in the warmth of the summer sun as it sets on another serene Australian summers day. I want this artwork to invoke a joy, a peaceful connection with nature and a lovely glow within the viewer and the room that is hanging in. Perfect addition for someone who loves being surrounded by nature and to be able to bring the happiness and calmness that we get when surrounded by nature and its emotions inside into your home. A contemporary abstract floral art piece to brighten up your room and put a smile on your face. This gorgeous canvas print is from an original acrylic painting by Australian botanical artist Amber Gittins.

Amber draws inspiration from the Australian landscape and its botanical forms. Amber translates elements of the natural world into abstract compositions that focus more on feeling over their representation.

Through layered colour, organic movement and considered placement, Amber aims to create paintings that bring a sense of calm, balance and natural energy into a space. Nature acts as a starting point — a reference for growth, rhythm and softness — while abstraction allows the work to remain open, personal and enduring.

Each piece is created intuitively, with attention to colour formations and harmony. Amber is drawn to how colour can influence and impact a room and how art can anchor an interior, shaping not only how a space looks, but how it feels.

Amber’s work is intended to be lived with — collected for its emotional resonance, longevity and ability to connect the beauty of the natural world with contemporary interiors.
