Is there ever anything subtle about love, I don't think so! We all love being in love and experiencing all the highs and happiness it brings. This painting was created with those thoughts in mind, starting with a subtle pastel blue colour palette and then adding the deep bold dark midnight blue flowers to add that element of surprise and excitement. This painting wants to be seen and does not want to hide within all the pastel shades, it is wanting to jump out and really make someone smile and be happy within that moment... just like love!
