Botanical and nature artist Amber Gittins has a love for colour and movement in her paintings. She uses acrylics as she loves the fast drying time of acrylic paints, which helps in the creation of the natural flowing movement that give her that signature style.
Amber finds painting to be such a meditative and calming process and once painting everything else in her mind disappears. It’s just her and the artwork in front of her. A moving calmness forms across the canvas and this is an unconscious result of this meditative state that she feels.
