Earlier this year I managed to visit Palm Cove in tropical Norrh Queensland. This grove of coconut trees is a popular instagram shot but what caught me was the pattern of shadows cast. The darker shadows contrasts graphically with the surrounding seascape conveying the brightness of midday.
