Artwork Description

This is a unique, hand-painted artwork that was inspired by the satellite and aerial view of The Bahamas. It is a one-of-a-kind piece that cannot be replicated.Dealing with depression, PTSD, and anxiety, painting is a form of therapy for me.
In this painting I create a peaceful and safe space for the child and adult in me both, a place to freely express myself and where I can just be. As always this space is a beach, with healing vibes and powdery sand, where calm lucent ocean waters splash frothy waves on my feet, where I feel free and loved just the way I am.
Due to the techniques used, this painting cannot be reproduced, repeated, or recreated. Every painting obtained through these fluid painting techniques happens only once in an infinity of attempts.
Due to its glossy finish its impossible to take perfect photos of the painting and be able to capture all the details that emerged between layers in one same photo or to photograph it without having objects reflecting onto its surface.
Different kinds of light & angles make looking at it a continuous process of discovery always looking slightly different & never boringly predictable
This painting does not need to be framed, the painted image extends on the sides, it is wired, signed, ready to hang, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

All my paintings are painted in layers, giving them a tridimensional aspect with intricate details that add richness and depth to the final image. These painting techniques make the paintings unique and impossible to recreate, and reproduce, thus even more so special. Every painting obtained through these fluid painting techniques happens only once in an infinity of attempts.

PLEASE NOTE:
• I use all professional packing materials to make sure your artwork gets to you safely wherever in the world you may live.
• Please understand that while I make every effort to ensure that the pictures are as close as the actual piece, some colors may appear slightly different in person due to the variation of lighting and screen settings.
• I cannot always guarantee a 'flawless finish' but I always aim for perfection and try my best to reduce the amount of interference from environmental elements.

Care instructions:
- To clean this piece of art and keep that glossy shine use a gentle glass cleaner, spray it on, and wipe and buff it with a soft cloth that is gentle to the surface. The resin will not crack but can scratch, so please handle it carefully.
- Direct sunlight exposure can damage and may fade artwork.
- Do not place close to heating systems.
- Avoid touching the surface.

Artist Bio

I am a self taught dreamer and artist. I am a creative human and beauty curator.
To dream is my path and to paint is my dream.
Painting fulfills me.
The ritual of preparing my materials, the working table, the music, everything about it makes me happy. Opening the pigment jars, feeling the specific scent of the resin (the medium I paint with), observing the mediums interacting and changing under fire, the peaceful restlessness I feel during the process, the perpetual element of surprise, everything is pure joy for me.
Lack of control is not my strong suit, but in the painting process things are different. The resin (also known as liquid glass) has a mind of its own and I learn to mindfully let go every time I paint. I allow those liquid color induced emotions I feel to drive me and take lead of my hands and at the end of the process, it is just music and bliss.
Resin flowing on the painting surface is like a butterfly unfolding its wings for the very first time, overwhelming beauty and color reveal uniquely surprising patterns ready to fill the yearning eyes and souls. I get to create my own “pupas” and watch them emerge into beautiful “butterflies” on the painting surface.

I love this painting style because it cannot be reproduced, repeated, recreated, every painting obtained through these techniques happens only once in an infinity of attempts.
In a way, these paintings are like us humans: one of a kind, for eternity. Isn’t that amazing?
