This artwork has a slight and gentle shimmer in the land and the sky areas when viewed at an angle. This delicate sheen comes from the watercolour paint called "Red Fuchsite Genuine" which is made using ground Red Fuchsite gemstone that comes from the mountains of Brazil.

Nestled between the beach and the edge of Brisbane Water National Park, Anastasia Mily creates her watercolour paintings from her home studio. She gets constant inspiration from the Central Coast landscapes that surround her.

Mostly self-taught, Anastasia started studying art in high school and has since attended numerous art classes and workshops. Over the years she's experimented with various mediums until she decided to dedicate herself to watercolours. Also a photographer, she uses landscapes she discovered while travelling to inspire her current pieces.

Anastasia’s work is currently held in private collections across Canada, Singapore, and Australia.
