Whilst I was visiting Kings Canyon, Watarrka National Park , I had an amazing 2 hour hike along the ridge of the gorge, this walk leads through the Lost City, a maze of giant weathered sandstone domes , in its centre is a clearing with the most amazing Ghost Gum tree I've ever seen, its huge limbs like an octopus going in every direction , whilst resting under its shade I noticed Bee Eater’s ducking in and out chasing insects. My painting “Bee eating about the Bush” unfolded in front of me. I hope you enjoy it as much as my memory of that day.
