Still Life No 194

Still Life No.175 features a sweet, solo floral stem in a geometric, retro vase placed against a quirky magenta and olive background.

This piece has been created using quality, lightfast, artist quality acrylic paints and finished using a satin varnish which has a very slight sheen.

Framed in sustainably sourced Vic Ash (see last image for example) which has been sealed using an environmentally friendly, plant based oil it has been backed with heavyweight boxboard with a wire attached so will arrive ready to unpack and hang!

Andria Beighton is a Melbourne based artist, currently absorbed in the creation of distinctive, still life paintings with a floral focus. A self taught artist, Andria has developed a unique, meticulously clean and balanced style. Andria’s background in floristry and accessory design are evident in her subject selection and carefully constructed colour palettes. A lifelong love of textile, homewares and architectural design from the 1930’s to 1970’s is explored through her work, lending her paintings their unmistakable nostalgic allure.
