Artwork Description

This delightfully feminine portrait of Eloise has to be my favourite of mine. From the first day working on this beautiful face, I knew she was going to be special.
In this work, I have combined all my favourite subjects: women, birds and tableware. You may have already guessed that I’m addicted to colour, too!
A vintage feel has been injected via Eloise’s Renaissance style dress. However, this is a fantasy piece, pulled from the imagination.
The style is painterly, with much texture on the surface. Golden highlights give the work a glow in any lighting. Sides are painted gold to match the gold float frame which surrounds the piece.
Measurements ( framed) are 53 x 63 x 5cm making this a medium-sized painting, suitable for many spaces, including groupings.
In case you’re interested, I used European Bee-Eaters as my bird muse.
Archival materials are used throughout, including varnish coatings over the face of Eloise and the birds.
Great care is taken in packaging art sent from my studio, so that it arrives in perfect condition, ready to hang immediately via D-rings and wire securely attached at the rear.
Signed on front and verso, with date and title on verso. A certificate of authenticity accompanies this art piece.
