Artwork Description

“Moonlit Trees” continues my romance with trees and the moon. How gorgeous they look together. This piece is an abstraction of what occurs in nature, a wistful take on a much loved theme. On this occasion, I chose a soft lilac theme, which is soft and romantic, I think.

I feel a sense of relaxation when I look at this painting. I hope you do too.

The piece was finished with generous coatings of varnish applied after these images were taken.

I have signed the front of the canvas rather sneakily, as if it were a branch of a tree. I wonder if you can spot it? It is also signed, titled and dated on the back.

This work is ready to hang with sturdy D-rings and wire. Framed in oak by an artisan framer.
