Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

An Ol' Tassie Shack is an original watercolour painting by Anica Amphlett and requires framing to hang.

On our trip to Tasmania a few years ago I took many photos of old derelict sheds and the inspiration for this painting came from one of these!

I could sense so much life and love gone by, if only the walls, trees and overgrown vines could speak! What story would they reveal?

Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.

Images:  The painting has been professionally scanned depicting the colours as close as possible to the painting. The framed image above is for illustration purposes only as is the in-situ example, where all care is taken for artwork to be proportionally as correct as possible.

Shipping: This painting will be sent in a flat pack and include a signed certificate of authenticity. Sent with Australia Post, fully insured requiring a signature upon receipt.
