Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

"Coming into Batlow" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting, 37cm x 27cm and is unframed.

Recently we travelled through the picturesque South Western Slopes of NSW.  Autumn was in full swing and the deciduous trees were laying a thick carpet of warm hues from yellow gold all the way to deep reds.  As we drove into Batlow, a beautiful large flaming-red tree welcomed us with the Batlow Hotel across the road. I knew this was the subject of my next painting.

Batlow is a beautiful and very friendly country town and being "apple-country" the apples were as crisp as ever!

The signature is in the lower right-hand corner and a certificate of authenticity is included.
