"Coolac Old Timer" is an original watercolour painting by Anica Amphlett and requires framing to hang.

Coolac is a tiny village in the Riverina between Jugiong and Gundagai. We spent four fabulous days there admiring the beautiful countryside, and enjoying the bird and farm life. There's a lot of history in Coolac and surrounding area and this quaint little home was no longer in its original lively state, but in a charm of its own giving us a glimpse into the past. The road is still wet from the recent rains and with that big hole in the roof of the house, much of it would be soaked.

I could sense so much life and love gone by, if only the walls, trees could speak! What story would they reveal?

Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
