"Currawong in the Thicket" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour and gouache painting and requires framing to hang.

There are plenty of Currawongs in our area and although they are not the prettiest bird, the chorus created by these melodic birds singing together is magnificent. This one is happily balancing in the thicket of scrub only to be joining his mates for a song very soon.

Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
