Delicately Red Gum Blossoms by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting and requires framing to hang.

Red Flowering Gums adorn our streets and gardens and attract wildlife as they burst out in vivid colour. Gum blossoms are different to other flowers as they have no petals. Instead, they have colourful stamens which attract nectar-feeding birds and insects. When you look at the tree with its blooms they seem to go in every direction. I have now figured out, both the leaves and blossoms of the Red Flowering Gum grow in an amazing perpendicular alternating way.

Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
