Artwork Description

Gouache on paper

Signed on the front.

"Fields of O'Connell Bathurst" by Anica Amphlett is an original gouache painting and requires framing to hang.

Our journey took us through O’Connell near Bathurst and a quick stop in the park to stretch our legs. I was delighted to look through a gap in the trees across Fish River to colourful fields of promise, a farmer’s shed and sheep quietly grazing in the distance. I’ve always admired farmers and all the risks they take to make something good for all of us. Where would we be without them?

Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
