Watercolour on paper
Signed on the front.
Gumtrees in the Field by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting and requires framing to hang.
Admiring our Australian Gum Trees is easy. As we travel through the countryside I am mesmerised by their diversity of shapes, colour, styles of bark and wayward structure.
These two gums are standing in a field of sweeping grass, breathing in the fresh Aussie air, and allowing their branches to grow any which way they like. The colours are soft and muted like the ambience around them including the gentle blue sky above them.
Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and brightens up a space in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
Images: The painting has been professionally scanned depicting the colours as close as possible to the original painting. The framed image above is for illustration purposes only and all care is taken for artwork to be proportionally as correct as possible in "the in-situ" image.
Shipping: Painted on Arches 300gsm Rough paper, this paper is still pliable enough to roll gently and send in a mailing tube. A certificate of authenticity is included.
