Watercolour on paper
Signed on the front.
"Looking Towards Bannisters Headland Mollymook" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting and requires framing to hang.
Bannisters Headland as seen from the end of Surfers Avenue in Narrawallee. It is such a popular spot for a quick breather, a morning snack, lunch, or anytime of the day when you know that such a scene will bring you the peace you long for. The park bench provides the perfect comfort for taking in the vista of natural grasses directly in front of me, the rocks below, the water as the waves break and then of course Bannisters Headland in the distance.
Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
Images: For better online viewing, the painting has been scanned depicting the colours as true as possible, although there can still be some variation depending on your screen. The framed image above is for illustration purposes only.
