On the Lachlan River in Cowra by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour-gouache painting on Saunders Waterford 300gsm

On a recent trip to the Central West of NSW, we stopped in Cowra and spent the sunny afternoon on the Lachlan River. We mainly walked our way along the river but I couldn't help but wonder of all the fun things locals get up to, having this lovely river run through their township. I later found out, they love the river for swimming, boating, fishing and camping!

Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
