Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

"Port Macquarie Breakwall Promenade" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting and requires framing to hang.

Our holiday has taken us through Port Macquarie and what a delight it was. The Breakwall Promenade was an eye opener and the subject of my latest painting. The "Little Shack" Cafe situated on a prominent corner of the pathway was buzzing with guests, great coffee and snacks. To one side of the Cafe, the Breakwall boasted numerous painted rocks, that went for as far as the eye could see. The paintings on the rocks were of a memorial nature for lives lost, for holiday makers, for special events and for anyone who wanted to make a mark for all times sake. Giant Norfolk Pines were in the background and if you look closely you'll see the roofs of some of the holiday cottages too.

Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.

Shipping: This painting will be sent in a flat pack and include a signed certificate of authenticity. Sent with Australia Post, fully insured requiring a signature upon receipt.
