Watercolour on paper
Signed on the front.
"Stormy Collers Beach" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting and requires framing to hang.
Collers Beach is a hidden gem tucked in behind Flat Rock at the south end of Mollymook Beach. The single rock that sticks out like a tooth is the Bogey Hole, a well-known swimming hole. The colours are breathtaking on a sunny day and intensely dramatic on a stormy one. The aqua colour of the water, choppy waves, the distant headland in the background and the rocks in the foreground all addup to a lively seascape.
Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
Images: For better online viewing, the painting has been scanned depicting the colours as true as possible, although there can still be some variation depending on your screen. The framed image above is for illustration purposes only.
