"Texas Queenslander" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting and requires framing to hang.
The iconic Queenslander home is
probably the most iconic of all Australian architecture and was first designed in the 1840s. Built to beat the Summer heat it has large wrap around verandahs and stands on stilts creating a shaded breeze way. We found this beauty in the small town of Texas, Queensland. We camped across the road from it and I fully enjoyed painting under the canopy of the tall shading tree.
Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
Shipping: This painting will be sent in a flat pack and include a signed certificate of authenticity. Sent with Australia Post, fully insured requiring a signature upon receipt.
