Watercolour on paper
Signed on the front.
"The River Murray at Corowa" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting and requires framing to hang.
Our travels took us to Corowa, where the Murray River defines the border between NSW and VIC. Huge River Red Gums line the banks of the waterway and are seen with their naked winding roots, a result of erosion.
I found Two awesome facts about Corowa. One being, the township plays an important part in the creation of Australia's Federation and happens to be the place where Tom Roberts' painted "Shearing the Rams"in 1890, an absolutely amazing and iconic Australian Painting.
Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
Images: The painting has been professionally scanned depicting the colours as close as possible to the painting. The framed image above is for illustration purposes only.
