"Who, Me ? Brushtail Possum" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour and is ready to hang.

Even though Brushtail Possums may not be everyone's favourite, I really like them. Their eyes are so beautifully soft and are windows to their souls. In our previous home we had a resident possum, and this is his portrait. After a while he became blind, proven by his daytime activities, bumping into everything around him. He loved our neighbours grapevine and was often seen surrounded by luscious and grape-vine leaves.... and although poor-sighted, he would look at me, with that inquisitive look thinking... Who, Me?

The painting is fully protected from the elements and is framed in a 2cm wide, 2cm deep raw oak frame, and does not require glass. This provides you with a perfect view of the painting's texture without reflection. It is easily wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Mission: I love exploring the intricacies of nature then paint my interpretation. I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and brightens up a space in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.

Images: The painting has been professionally scanned depicting the colours as true as possible.
