A MOMENT IN TIME (DRONE SERIES)

A MOMENT IN TIME is a conceptual work that depicts a drone shot of the sea. I wanted to capture a moment in time with the image settling within a single photo frame with its ever changing salty form creating a sense of softness, movement and depth. This work has 3 coats of satin varnish.

Joanna Landman is mainly known for her abstract works which tend to lean towards biomorphic forms reminiscent of nature. Self-described as an organic/abstract painter and digital photographer, her works often offer a sense of movement or calmness and yet at other times her paintings depict a certain philosophical symbolism with the use of bold shape and form.
