Between The Light

Between The Light is a conceptual painting delving into the phenomenon of light refraction. It's an exploration of how light interacts with different surfaces, creating a visual experience. I wanted the horizontal lines to draw the viewer into a world of variegated beauty. My work has gallery edges, 3 coats of satin varnish and it's ready to hang to become a focal point.

Joanna Landman is mainly known for her abstract works which tend to lean towards biomorphic forms reminiscent of nature. Self-described as an organic/abstract painter and digital photographer, her works often offer a sense of movement or calmness and yet at other times her paintings depict a certain philosophical symbolism with the use of bold shape and form.
